On 10 November our Gauteng staff members enjoyed an amazing and rewarding day at Jedidiah Safe Haven in Hartbeespoort. The children thoroughly enjoyed the face painting, the jumping castle and of course the Christmas presents. Some of our therapists spoilt the teenage girls by doing their nails and showing them how to correctly apply make-up and other’s decorated their kitchen and dining room to create a warm and festive atmosphere. We kept them entertained by playing "Boere sport" games such as sack race, egg-and-spoon race, three-legged race, tug of war, balloon toss, arm wrestling, pillow fighting, wheelbarrow race and more.
