After much research we selected the Fraxel™ DUAL as the perfect resurfacing laser for our patients as it delivers impressive results with the least amount of downtime.
Not only does it incorporate two lasers in one, but impressive results are seen in as little as 2 to 3 treatments. This is a vast improvement on the older Fraxel Restore laser where one needed at least 6 treatments for similar results as it did not address pigmentation adequately.
The addition of the 1927 Thulium laser ensures that all forms of pigmentation and pre-cancerous skin lesions can be addressed as well, a must for anyone living in sunny South Africa! The upgraded 1550nm Restore wavelength targets skin texture (improving deep lines and acne scars). These two lasers can be used together or separately, depending on your needs.
