Filda was born in Zimbabwe in 1972, and grew up on their family farm as one of seven children. From a young age, Filda wanted to make a difference in people's lives and geared her education in such a manner that she could excel and be the best she could be.
She completed her tertiary education in Zimbabwe and worked in the cutting & design industry for many years until her husband sadly passed away and she and her children moved to South Africa.
Once in South Africa, Filda realised she could further her dream to assist people within the health sector. After having worked as a qualified child carer, she did various courses in First Aid and certificate programs including modules such as Health & Nutrition and Child Development. Filda then started to train and learn nursing skills at the Red Cross Hospital in Cape Town to become a nurse assistant, and then got the opportunity to work as a Nurse aid back in Zimbabwe.
In 2013, and back in South Africa, an opening in Skin Renewal allowed Filda to join the team at the Constantia clinic. When her history and potential was realized Filda was promoted to be Nurse Serena's Nurse Aid in the Southern Suburb clinics of Cape Quarter, Claremont and Constantia.
Filda is very excited and looking forward to her career at Skin Renewal assisting patients with Medical Weight Loss and IV Infusion treatments, run by Nurse Serena.Read More
