"What counts in life is not that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead" ...Nelson Mandela
Shana has lived most of her life in the Western Cape. She matriculated in 1986 and went straight into nursing at Carinus nursing college at Groote Schuur Hospital. She has worked as a midwife, a school nurse and an ICU nurse.
In 1997, with the help of others, she started a home for pregnant women in crisis named The New Life Centre. She worked as the Director of the centre for seven years before devoting her attentions to her family. She is a proud mother of three beautiful children.
After taking care of her family, she decided to join the Renewal Institute in order to further her experience as well as provide her experience to those in need.
