From this group 27% of respondents indicated that they like to be knowledgeable on beauty trends and fads, but don’t do them; where 20% of respondents indicated they try and experience as many as possible new treatments (as and when they become available).
Interestingly, a massive 54% of respondents would like to be able to experience, review and use new beauty trends, but don’t have the budget to do so. Only 8% of respondents were not interested in new beauty treatments at all.
It is fantastic to learn that 92% of respondents follow a daily skin care regime, and only 1% do not.
Following from this – 82% of respondents believe in the benefit of regular maintenance and preventative treatments – keep it up ladies, your future skin will thank you!
36% of respondents indicate that they go for regular, monthly treatments at a skin clinic. This is a great practice and commitment: no matter how small your monthly investment in your skin, regular treatments of salon strength yields wonderful results to maintain skin health and promote a more youthful appearance and increased cell turnover. Something as basic as an entry level peel can lead to enhanced skin rejuvenation.
When asked about Permanent Make-up (PMU) respondent had the following feedback:
·66% do not currently have PMU
·24% do have some form of permanent make-up
·10% are considering this. (It is important to go a reputable professional, so do your homework and avoid ‘bargains’ when considering a semi-permanent feature on your face.)
Interestingly, 50% of respondents prefer micoblading to traditional permanent make-up, and 21% do not like either form of PMU technique.
On to body treatment: 75% of respondents have not tried cryolipo fat freezing, and 12% have. This is a targeted technique that freezes localised fatty deposits that are resistant to diet and exercise. By freezing these areas you effectively kill the fat cells that are then gradually metabolised out of the body offering targeted body shaping effects.
When asked which method of hair removal respondents prefer these were the results:
·30% prefer waxing
·At 29% there is a tie between respondents preferring Laser Hair Removal and shaving!
·Only 11% prefer threading (which is most commonly done on the brow area).
