Is CO2 Laser resurfacing available at all Skin Renewal branches?

CO2 Laser treatments are available at all our Western Cape clinics: Cape Quarter, Claremont, Constantia, Century City, Stellenbosch, Paarl and Willowbridge.

Who would benefit from a CO2 Laser treatment?

An individual who;

Have developed significant facial lines and wrinkling (deep lines and wrinkles)
Have facial scars (e.g. acne scarring)
Uneven pigmentation (due to sun damage) – CO2 Laser cannot be done on hormonal pigmentation (melasma)

What are the benefits of the CO2 skin treatment?

By removing the damaged skin, the CO2 laser is able to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines revealing more youthful-looking skin. The procedure can also lessen the appearance of scars and other skin imperfections. Not only does the CO2 laser improve wrinkles and lines, but also assists in the treatment of uneven pigmentation, photodamage, and precancerous spots.

Is the CO2 laser a safe treatment?

The Co2 laser is perfectly safe with minimal side effects. It is advisable to consult with a Skin Renewal doctor to discuss the possible complications with CO2 laser skin resurfacing.

This treatment is not recommended for darker skins such as skin types 5 and 6 (in these cases we would rather recommend the Fraxel DUAL treatment).
