Introducing the new "Broom" PDO thread/cannula which will "sweep" away all your nasal insecurities.

Key areas around the nose are treated to help heighten, define and shape up the nasal bridge. This is a great new procedure as one can build up a flattened or crooked nasal bridge without taking away any vital nasal cartilage which may cause breathing major problems down the line.

questions

Is the non-surgical Nose Job available at all branches?
What is 3D Rhinoplasty?

3D Rhinoplasty is a very popular and sought-after combination treatment, which was developed in Korea by aesthetic physicians and uses a combination of dermal fillers and PDO Polydioxanone threads, synthetic absorbable monofilament sutures used to heighten and refine the nasal bridge, making it look more elevated.

The new "Broom" PDO thread has been specially designed and developed for nasal bridge rejuvenation. For this procedure, minimal anesthesia is performed before the procedure, making the procedure virtually painless. During the procedure, an acupuncture is inserted along the nasal bridge. Whilst withdrawing the needle, the dermal filler is injected along the pathway, giving an instant result.

Who would benefit from a non-surgical nose job?

This procedure is great for those wanting to improve a flattened nasal bridge or a hump on the nose. This is also great for a nasal tip that dips at the point due to the ageing process...the dreaded witches beak.

People who have the following imperfections;

  • Crooked nose
  • Flat bridges
  • Abnormal shapes can be improved or corrected, but a large nose cannot be reduced in size.
What are the advantages?

Termed as a “lunch-time quick fix”, nose reshaping with fillers and PDO threads have the following advantages:

  • natural-looking results
  • immediate enhancement and improvements
  • no downtime
  • Minimal recovery time
  • No vital nasal cartilage is removed
  • No long term deleterious effects on nasal passages (as with surgical rhinoplasty)
How long does this treatment last?

This procedure takes about 30 minutes to complete with hardly any pain, bleeding or swelling afterwards. As the threads are dissolvable (safely absorbed into body), results can usually last up to 2–3 years.

What long term effects can SURGICAL rhinoplasty have?

According to Dr Steven Park (an expert on Sleep Disordered breathing), if any part of the nasal anatomy becomes obstructed either partially or completely, this will trigger your nostrils to collapse during sleep which may lead to sleep breathing disorders such as Dr Park advises-that one should try to avoid common surgical procedures such as rhinoplasty as they can affect the way you breathe and sleep. During a nose job, the hump is taken down or the tip is made more narrow. During the procedure, certain support structures are weakened resulting in flimsy nostrils many years later. With any procedure that narrows the tip, a portion of the lower lateral cartilages have to be either removed or weakened. These cartilages are one of the main support structures that keep your nostril from collapsing inwards.

People with a nasal hump already have narrow jaws which compromises your nasal cavity. Underdevelopment of the mid-face pulls the upper lip and the lower cartilaginous nose down, creating the classic nasal hump. Rhinoplasty surgery will worsen nasal congestion by removing nasal cartilage. This can aggravate breathing problems down the line.

If one undergoes a surgical rhinoplasty procedure, one can usually breathe well initially but years or decades later, constant inspiration and vacuum forces from routine breathing cause the nostrils to slowly cave inwards, worsening nasal congestion which can aggravate or cause obstructive sleep apnea or UARS.

Even with contemporary rhinoplasty techniques, it’s important to prevent this from happening using proper technique and by minimising removal of excessive cartilage. Better still, a non surgical nasal rejuvenation such as 3D Rhinoplasty may be a safer solution.

Nose reshaping with fillers results vary for individuals. In general, it can last for up to 18 months. As an added advantage, since the results are non-permanent, adjustments can be made as you go along to meet your ever- changing demands. But most importantly, this treatment allows you to continually retain a natural look.

Had a non-surgical nose job at Skin Renewal in Willowbridge 2 months ago. The results look beautiful! During the experienced staff was very professional and kept me up to date every step of the way paying close attention to detail. The process took about an hour, unlike another specialist who advertises 15-minute nose jobs. Dr. Graham took the time to analyze and sculpt it to perfection. My confidence levels after this have been boosted and I am overall happy with the results. Recommend 10/10

Dr Maureen, since my accident in 2011 you have done astonishing work for me, you have never ceased to amaze me. What you have done with my Nose is amazing, although it has not settled yet (only did it yesterday) I hope it will only get better. It is still uncomfortable and painful, but believe me...it has taken a beautiful shape. I am happy as always.
