More Than Skin Deep at Century City
There’s plenty happening at Skin Renewal Century City, and this edition is all about the people who make our branch feel like home. We’re welcoming a new doctor, celebrating birthdays big and little, cheering from the rugby sidelines and sharing a few of the skincare and treatments our team genuinely loves.
We’re also turning October pink as our Century City team gets behind ILoveBoobies and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. From taking part in the Imagine Challenge to collecting pre-loved bras for women attending ILoveBoobies breast health screenings, it’s another opportunity for our team and you, our patients to come together for something that matters.
Because Century City has never just been about appointments. It’s about people, relationships and being part of a community that cares and that includes you.
There’s a new face at Century City, and we’re delighted to introduce Dr Sebastian Brunido to our community.
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll usually find Dr Sebastian prioritising health, fitness and overall wellbeing – a philosophy that naturally carries through to the way he approaches his patients. He believes that great skin is about far more than what we see on the surface, with overall health and lifestyle playing an important role in how we look and feel.
With a special interest in healthy ageing and natural-looking results, Dr Sebastian’s approach is thoughtful and individual: understanding you, what you’d like to achieve and how we can support you in looking and feeling your best — while still looking unmistakably like yourself.
If you spot him on your next visit, be sure to say hello. We’re so pleased to have him as part of our Century City family – and we think you will be too.
There was a very special birthday in the Century City family recently as Marzet’s youngest, beautiful little Amé, turned one!
To celebrate this big little milestone, the family transformed their home into a WinterONEderland, bringing everyone together for a special day with Amé surrounded by those who love her most. And, of course, there was plenty of excitement as the birthday girl opened her presents in front of her nearest and dearest!
It’s hard to believe a whole year has already passed. What a joy and blessing little Amé has been to Marzet and her family.
Happy first birthday, Amé! Wishing our little princess a year ahead filled with love, laughter and many more happy family moments.
Our Century City family had another birthday to celebrate recently as our lovely Leslin turned 22.
Leslin marked the occasion in the best possible way – with a gorgeous self-care spa day with her sister, enjoying some well-deserved pampering and quality time together.
When she’s not looking after our patients at Century City, Leslin loves to cook and, most importantly, spend time with her family so a birthday shared with her sister couldn’t have been more fitting.
Happy 22nd birthday, Leslin! We hope the year ahead brings you plenty of reasons to celebrate, special moments with the people you love and, of course, a little more time for pampering!
We love watching our Century City family grow and we can hardly believe Khanyi’s not-so-little boy, Lulo, is already taking to the rugby field!
There he is, living his best life, getting stuck into the game and playing his little heart out. There’s something very special about watching our children discover the things they love and we know Khanyi must be one very proud mom on the sidelines.
Keep going, Lulo! We’ll be cheering you on from Century City. Who knows, we may just have a future Springbok in our midst!

Your pre-loved bras can make a difference this October.
October turns pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Skin Renewal Century City is proud to once again support ILoveBoobies and the work they do providing breast health screenings and education to women in underserved communities.
There’s a simple way you can get involved too – help us fill our bra box!
Take a look through your cupboard for gently worn bras that no longer fit or simply never get worn. Wash them and bring them along on your next visit or pop into the branch to drop them off. They’ll be collected and given to women attending ILoveBoobies breast health screenings.

Long before these products reached our shelves, they were ideas, conversations, questions, careful decisions and a genuine desire to do more for the people who place their trust in us.
What followed was a journey of listening, refining and never settling until every detail felt right. And while seeing these products finally come to life is incredibly special to us, that was never the moment we were working towards.
