We're introducing two lovely new faces, celebrating a very special arrival on the way and sharing why our MD Tri-Peptide Brightening Complex deserves a permanent spot on your bathroom shelf, especially as summer brings its own skin challenges. We're also taking you behind the scenes of our new skincare collection and showing you how one small act of kindness can make a meaningful difference this Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

There’s nothing quite like welcoming new faces to the family. Our Fourways team is growing, and we’re delighted to introduce Dr Sinead Marais and Jaden, our new Medical Therapist, who bring a shared passion for skin health, aesthetics and making every patient feel right at home.
Dr Sinead Marais joined Skin Renewal in January 2025, following her passion for aesthetic medicine and completing further training under Dr Maureen Allem. A University of Pretoria graduate, she has spent time at several of our sister branches before joining our Fourways branch this month, bringing her experience and love for natural, refreshed results to the team.
And when she’s not looking after patients? You’ll find her travelling, exercising, pottering in the garden or enjoying family time. She's also a proud cat mom to three furry companions!
We can’t wait for you to get to know her!
Jaden joins us with a passion for skin health and helping people feel confident in their skin. After graduating from Madge Wallace International College of Skin & Body Therapy in 2024, she has continued to grow her knowledge in results-driven skincare and personalised treatments. Outside the clinic, she enjoys staying active, discovering new restaurants and all things health and wellness.
We’re so happy to have them as part of the Fourways family; be sure to say hello and book in to experience their passion for yourself!
Skin Renewal was proud to be part of an intimate evening celebrating Rachel Kolisi and the launch of her book, Falling Forward, alongside an exclusive screening of the documentary.
Bhongo, Durea and Lorian from our Fourways branch joined the evening, which offered a personal and honest glimpse into Rachel’s journey – exploring identity, loss, healing, motherhood, courage and rediscovery.
It was a meaningful evening celebrating her story, resilience and the strength it has taken to move forward.
We have some very exciting news to share! Dr Darienne and her husband, Len, welcomed their beautiful baby boy, Kai, on 5 October!
Before his arrival, the Fourways team celebrated this special milestone with a lovely baby shower for Dr Darienne. It was such a wonderful occasion, filled with love, laughter and excitement for the little one on the way!
We are absolutely delighted for the new parents and wish them endless love, happiness and precious moments as they settle into life as a family of three.
Dr Darienne is currently enjoying some well-deserved maternity leave and will be returning to the Fourways team in February. And don't worry, we'll be sharing photos of little Kai in our next newsletter!

The temperatures are going up, the sundresses are out, and spring has arrived! Now that the promise of summer heat lingers almost within grasp, are you switching up your skin routine like your wardrobe with the season change?
Spring and Summer bring a welcome reprieve from the dryness of winter, but for those who have oilier skin, this can become a challenging time. Every bra donated will be gifted to women who have undergone Breast Cancer screenings – a small act of kindness that brings dignity, comfort, and hope. You can drop off your bras at any of our Skin Renewal branches nationwide throughout October.
And because we can never have too much support… ILoveBoobies socks are also available to purchase, in a range of sizes!
So, clean out that bra drawer, grab a pair of socks, and let’s show some love this October.
Long before these products reached our shelves, they were ideas, conversations, questions, careful decisions and a genuine desire to do more for the people who place their trust in us.
What followed was a journey of listening, refining and never settling until every detail felt right. And while seeing these products finally come to life is incredibly special to us, that was never the moment we were working towards.
