Skin Renewal Supports Reach for a Dream

Reach for a Dream is a remarkable fundraising organisation dedicated to bringing hope and joy to children living with life-threatening illnesses. By making one of their dreams come true, the Foundation not only uplifts the child but also provides comfort and encouragement to their families.

Fundraising initiatives take place throughout the year, with one of the most loved campaigns being the annual “Reach for Your Slippers” Day. On 1 August 2014, people across the country slipped into their favourite slippers in support of this cause.

Across all Skin Renewal clinics in South Africa, our teams proudly participated by selling R10 stickers, raising a total of R4 620 for the Reach for a Dream Foundation.

The Power of Dreams

As the Foundation’s vision so beautifully expresses:

“We believe in the power of dreams. We encourage children to use their dreams to fight life-threatening illnesses. And we seek as far as possible to make dreams come true. Our vision is to grow the Foundation, enabling us to continue giving hope to children fighting life-threatening illnesses through the fulfilment of their dreams, and to further help as many children facing these illnesses through our national projects.”
