Dr Debra Hurry

Dr Debra originates from the lush Lowveld and earned her medical degree at the University of Pretoria in 2009. She began her career in Cape Town’s high-pressure Emergency Medicine departments, gaining four years of hands-on experience before embarking on an eight-year tenure as a cruise ship physician, caring for travellers in ports around the world.

Drawn by a longstanding passion for wellness, skin health and longevity—alongside her own anti-ageing journey, Dr Debra transitioned into aesthetic medicine under the guidance of Dr Maureen Allem and the Skin Renewal team. Through this mentorship, she refined her skills in the latest techniques and advanced protocols, embracing the clinic’s commitment to continuous development and excellence.

When she’s not in clinic, Dr Debra keeps active with coffee-fuelled walks and mountain hikes, delights in preparing wholesome meals, and enjoys window-shopping adventures or cosy evenings at home with her partner. Her blend of medical expertise, global perspective and genuine warmth ensures every patient feels supported—inside and out.
