Dr Holly Dercksen

Dr Holly Dercksen completed her medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020, followed by a Diploma in Obstetrics from the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa in 2023. Drawing on her foundations in emergency medicine and obstetrics, she found a natural progression into aesthetic practice, merging the rigour of clinical care with her passion for women’s health.

After her community service year, she exchanged the ward for the world—diving in crystalline seas, skiing alpine slopes, and even camping beside an active volcano. Now, she balances her love of adventure with quieter pursuits: losing herself in a good book or savouring a meal with friends and family.

At Skin Renewal, Dr Holly had the opportunity to refine her skills under the mentorship of Dr Maureen Allem and the wider clinical team, embracing Skin Renewal's ethos of continuous learning and excellence. As a member of AAMSA, she approaches aesthetic medicine holistically, combining evidence-based techniques with an artist’s eye to deliver subtle, natural enhancement tailored to each individual’s unique features. For Dr Holly, true skin health extends beyond appearance to bolster confidence, wellbeing and overall quality of life.
