Rentia Jacobs

Rentia completed her Health and Skin Care qualification at Isa Carstens Academy in Stellenbosch, in 2001, specializing in Spa Management in her third year of study.

After graduating, she worked on luxury Cruise Liners for over four years as Spa and Fitness Manager. She also completed a Business Management course at Stellenbosch University Business School.

After working as Business Development Manager for a prominent Italian Skin Care company in South Africa, she decided to invest some of her experience into training and joined the team at the Isa Carstens Academy.

A new opportunity presented itself with the Soccer World Cup fast approaching, and she set out to do the development, set-up, and management of a five star Spa and Wellness Centre in a brand new five-star hotel, walking distance from the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

In 2010 she joined the Renewal Institute family and forms part of the Support Team. After five years of being involved in the management of operations of the Cape Town branches and assisting in marketing and development of new and existing branches for the Cape region, new and exciting opportunities came about as new innovative software was explored by the company.

For a year, she was part of the team to develop and launch the software. She now assists with strategies for budgeting, tracking and daily management of the industry-leading Zenoti program and paperless patient files and prescriptions.

To stay on top of new business strategies, and assist staff members in their own personal and career development is some of her many goals.
