What to expect after a chemical peel treatment during the healing process:
The skin will feel very hot as if you have had a sunburn. The skin will start to feel tight. The treated skin will become dark. After 2-3 days, the skin will start to peel. There may be redness, itching, and sensitivity. The peeling and flaking will last a few days before the skin starts to normalize. In the very superficial and less aggressive peels, there may be minimal to NO flaking. Following all your post-procedure instructions is very important to ensure the best results.

What to expect after a Fractionated resurfacing peel treatment: The skin will feel very hot, as if you have had severe sunburn. There will be swelling. Eyelids may be very swollen, and you will feel radiating heat. Skin will be sensitive to the touch.
The treated skin will become dark. After 2-3 days, the skin will start to peel. There may be redness, itching, and sensitivity. The peeling, coarseness and flaking will last a few days before the skin normalises. Following all your post-procedure instructions is very important to ensure the best results.
