What to expect after a chemical peel treatment, during the healing process: The skin will feel very hot, as if you have had a sunburn. The skin will start to feel tight. The treated skin will become dark. After 2-3 days, the skin will start to peel. There may be redness, itching, and sensitivity. The peeling and flaking will last a few days before the skin starts to normalize. It is VERY important to follow all your post-procedure instructions to ensure the best results.
