Jacoline Kritzinger

Jacoline comes from the Eastern Cape, and is the youngest of three sisters. She studied and obtained her degree from Stellenbosch University and currently works in the fruit export industry, whilst living in Kuilsrivier. Jacoline feels she has had her fair share of a broken heart, which left her full of self-doubt: “Am I smart enough, am I pretty enough?”. She hopes that through the Mooimaak transformation she will be able to find a partner with whom she can enjoy the finer things of life – she wants a husband, with children and a family of her own. Jacoline has two fur-children, and is aunt to 5 boys who she loves deeply. In addition to finding a partner, she also wants to use her new look and confidence will further her carreer.

Jacoline's Treatments

Jacoline’s Mooimaak journey was led by Dr Dalize Willemse, with additional treatments performed by therapist Johandi Koch over a period of ten weeks. The focus of her treatments was to improve melasma pigmentation, reduce breakouts and scarring, and enhance her natural features. This was achieved by addressing internal and external factors through topical treatments and gut restoration.

Combination Peel

After a few preparation peels, Jacoline had a Combination Peel. This is an advanced three-phase medical peel, which combines treatment of Beta Peel, Trichloracetic Acid and Retonoic Acid to produce a medium depth peel. This peel is specifically indicated for treating post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, uneven texture, hormonal pigmentation (Melasma) and acne.

Gut Restoration

To combat inflammation, which is a leading contributing factor to pigmentation, acne and breakouts one has to heal the gut first and reduce inflammation! Through a special selection of internal supplements Jacoline’s gut was repaired allowing the distress signs showing on her skin to diminish!

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a topical mechanical exfoliation technique, which renews the skin by lifting dead cells off the skin’s surface by means of a gentle polishing with crystals. Laser Genesis™ promotes vibrant and healthy-looking skin in all skin types by stimulating new collagen production. By combining these two no-downtime treatments the Mooimaak team was able to combat the signs of ageing on Jacoline’s safely, discretely and effectively.

PDT therapy uses a combination of pure visible Blue or Red light to stimulate the deeper skin tissue, whilst being safe to perform on all skin types and conditions. For Jacoline PDT was combined with Transdermal Mesotherapy to alleviate inflammation, lighten pigmentation and calm the skin through its healing properties.
